Both Lubuntu and Ubuntu are generally considered to be safe operating systems. However, Lubuntu is often considered to be more lightweight and less resource-intensive than Ubuntu, which can potentially make it more secure due to its reduced attack surface. Additionally, Lubuntu's focus on using lightweight applications may also contribute to a more secure environment. Ultimately, the safety of an operating system depends on various factors such as proper security practices, timely updates, and user behavior. **

Both Lubuntu and Ubuntu are considered to be safe operating systems. However, Lubuntu is often recommended for older or less powerful computers due to its lightweight nature, which can potentially reduce the risk of security vulnerabilities.
