Self-interest refers to the pursuit of one's own personal gain or advantage, often at the expense of others. It involves making decisions and taking actions that prioritize one's own needs, desires, and well-being. Self-interest is a fundamental aspect of human nature and is often seen as a driving force behind individual behavior and decision-making. However, it is important to strike a balance between self-interest and consideration for the well-being of others in order to maintain healthy relationships and a functioning society. **

The motivation behind pursuing a new hobby or skill can vary from person to person. Some may be genuinely interested in the activity itself, while others may be seeking a boost in self-confidence. For some, the pursuit of a new interest can be a way to challenge themselves and gain a sense of accomplishment, which in turn can boost their self-confidence. Ultimately, the reasons for pursuing a new interest can be a combination of genuine interest and a desire for personal growth and confidence. **

Self-promotion is not inherently a sin, as it is a natural part of advocating for oneself and one's abilities. However, the intention behind the self-promotion and the way it is carried out can determine whether it is ethical or not. If self-promotion is done with humility, honesty, and respect for others, it can be a positive and necessary aspect of personal and professional growth. However, if it is done in a boastful, deceitful, or manipulative manner, it can be considered unethical. Ultimately, the ethicality of self-promotion depends on the individual's intentions and actions. **

Honor is not typically considered a legally protected interest that justifies self-defense in most legal systems. Self-defense is generally justified when a person reasonably believes that they are in imminent danger of physical harm. While honor may be important to an individual, it is not typically recognized as a justification for using force in self-defense. Legal systems generally prioritize the protection of physical safety over the protection of honor. **

Self-promotion in games is generally allowed, as long as it is done within the guidelines and rules set by the game developers or platform. This can include promoting one's own content, such as streaming channels or social media accounts, within the game community. However, excessive or disruptive self-promotion may be frowned upon and could lead to consequences such as being banned or muted. It's important for players to be respectful of the game environment and other players while engaging in self-promotion. **
